Memory or Mystery?

I can't help but feel like I've slacked off on this thing recently. Sorry!

So lately a lot of people around campus have been saying hi to me. They've ranged from a big fat guy, to a tiny little chinese girl and everything in between. This wouldn't be a problem except I don't have any idea who they are. Are people just being nice and saying hi to random people(b-random to be exact. haha sorry I had to), or have I been drunk too much and just don't remember meeting them? I am confused, and I'm pretty sure it shows on my face when they talk to me. I feel a little guilty about that. I like to think I remember most people that I talk to when out and about drunk....but maybe I really don't?

Dr. Pepper

I am going to let you all in on a little secret right now. While some of you may already know of this great drink, I'm sure many don't. I for one will be enjoying many this weekend since my parents were nice enough to leave a quart of amaretto in the cabinet while they're gone for three weeks. So here it is, this is how you make a Dr. Pepper.

In a glass mix:

1 shot of amaretto
Fill halfway with beer
Fill the rest with Pepsi.

Yes I know, I know. You're thinking, "Brendan, pepsi and beer together? That's sick!" And I thought the same before I tried it out but was pleasantly surprised.
So there is your homework for the weekend try it out. You will be glad you did.

Props to Bryan Fleming for the delicious recipe.

Cabana Boy

I never want to win anything at trivia again. Although it was nice to finally place after oh so many close calls, the pitchers we won were hardly necessary. We are all way too hungover today. I think combined we probably missed about 10 classes today between all the boys.

The cabana boy gear was dandy though. Can never get enough extra large white t-shirts! And the beach ball is prime. Nicko that thing is coming with us to dominican for sure! Two weeks!

That is all.

Snowbow

Have any of you ever seen a rainbow in the middle of the winter? Well nick and I did today on our way from subway. It was an odd sight, but oh so beautiful at the same time. haha.

We decided to call it a snowbow. Makes sense. It's my new favorite sky sight. The way the light refracted in the snow was simply glorious.

Keep an eye to the sky for the new sensation.

I love you snowbow

I am officially a klutz.

I used to be an athletic, coordinated young man.....but recently I have become a full-fledged klutz. As you may have read in a previous post, I've had some spills. This post will now update you on recent ones.

The first happened last night in my basement. Me and nicko were playing a calm, friendly game of crokinole when all of a sudden my chair mysteriously started falling. Next thing I know I'm on the ground. My back hit the entertainment center, my ass caught the corner of a dvd player, and the chair put a nice red dent in the wall.

Secondly, today at work I closed some blinds. Seems simple enough right? Well apparently not. When I went to turn around it turns out there was a footstool right behind me and I managed to completely fall over knocking the stoll into a fan and rolling myself into a box full of files. Seems bad, but the worst part is there were a bunch of newbies getting trained right beside me. They all looked at me like I was a complete idiot. Which i can't really argue with........

Again the $10,000 offer still stands.....it's a wonder I didn't kill myself doing those extreme deck jumping stunts.

Fuck I suck.

CANNONBALL!

9/10? Posted by Hello

Children Once Again

Q: What do two young adult males do when there is a snow storm?

A: Jump off the deck into a massive snow drift of course!

And that's exactly what Nick and I did tonight with a digital camera there to capture some good action shots. Using my high deck and drifts taller than we are, we definately passed some time. While there were no flips done, a nice cannon ball was performed. I believe it was a 9/10. I'll post some pictures now.

As you can see the snow is as high as the cars....wait, where are the cars? Posted by Hello

Who wants to come jump off my deck into this one? Posted by Hello

Century

Well I have officially had 100 hits to this blog since Thursday evening. That's way more than I would have expected I must say.

So I ask this. Is the blog really that interesting, or are you all just really really bored? I am curious.

Keep on checking back, and write some more comments people.

Goodbye Phone

MSN is taking over our lives.

So it has become fairly obvious to me today that we, as the computer generation are dependant on the internet and msn to communicate with our friends. Long gone are the times of regular phone calls. I find now when I want to talk to someone I just check and see if they are on msn, and if they aren't I'll wait until they are. Now, I sit here today stuck home alone in this storm and msn isn't working. I can think of many people I would like to talk to, but yet I won't pick up the phone and call. So, this is the only form of communication I have with everyone and I've resorted to writing this post. If anyone reads this, can get to my house, and wants to get storm stayed with me, please come keep me company. Or even crazier yet give me a call on the telephone.

I would expect more posts from me today because I am going to lose it stuck in my house for two days again. Lucky you. Sorry!

Be Honest

If I taste onions on my sub, pizza, hamburger, etc I gag......but I really really like onion rings and french onion sunchips.
Does that make me a freak?

Bologna to the face

Have any of you ever wondered what it feels like to be hit in the face with a piece of bologna??? Well if you answered yes, you missed out last night at 607. For some unknown reason we started taking turns slapping eachother in the face really really hard with the delicious sandwich meat, and I tell you it hurt more than getting slapped in the face by the average female. Another reason to have a video camera on me I think.......still no takers?
Try the bologna thing. Good fun.

p.s. James, your truck is a piece of shit

Jeff, Jeff, Jeff.....NO LOCALS! Posted by Hello

An Easy Investment

So I've got the proposal of a life time. A chance for an easy $10,000 with a chance for $100,000 the old fashioned way...America's Funniest Videos.

It seems as though lately the calm cool collected person that used to be Brendan as been replaced with a clumsy idiot. Three separated occasions in the last month lead me to this conclusion, and they are as follows:

1) Prior to christmas, I had the opportunity to enjoy a nice hot tub outdoors. While it seems nice at the time, when you get out it is fucking cold. In my hurry to get back inside I managed to run right through a screen door and right into the kitchen knocking the light over the table flying all over the place while I fell to the ground with a screen door in my hands. Hilarious.

2) Boxing Day provided another moment of excellence. On my way home I managed to slip on the ice, fly in the air, land on my head/shoulder, and cut the shit out of my hand. While there were no witnesses I am still sure of one thing........Hilarious.

3) The last and perhaps proudest moment was this past Saturday night. While investigating the smell of shaving cream I was completely ambushed. In my confusion/blindness of having shaving cream in my eyes, nose, and mouth I stumbled around for a few moments before taking a huge fall into a mountain of bottles that littered the floor. To quote my good friend Shaner " I am so glad I was there for that. And glad that I wasn't the only one too. That was..." You guessed it Hilarious.

So my proposal is, someone follow me around with a video camera for a month. I am almost positive you will capture a moment that would snatch up at least a $10,000 weekly prize on AFV if not the $100,000 big daddy of them all. Any takers?

My driveway after the latest storm...... Posted by Hello

The Day After Tomorrow

So I sit here stuck in my house from this big storm. The second one this winter, although there hasn't been much snow other than said storms. Is this a good thing? Is it better to get a whole bunch of snow only twice, or get little bits of snow over time..........that's a thinker. I'm gonna go with two big storms. One big shovel and storm stay is much better than having to clear off the car every god damn time you want to go somewhere, getting all wet and having to sit through class. So there it is, big storms win.
I just watched "The Day After Tomorrow" this afternoon. Very fitting. Maybe this storm we're having is the start of it all? Funny though in the movie they didn't really show any emotion to the fact that Canada was frozen much before them. They didn't really mention it to tell you the truth. Not a bad movie....well yes it was, and not very believeable but at least the effects were somewhat decent right?

We should all get our white clothes from saturday night and go play hide and seek in the snow. Although nick might be easy to spot since there is likely blood all over his whiteness. For more info on that see www.6oh7.blogspot.com

That's all for now, I'm going to go watch Poolhall Junkies. Learn the tricks of the trade on how to hustle playing pool. Watch out, I'm a shark

Friday Night Random

So a friday that could have been uneventful turned out to be quite random. A random party with some new people, a random sexist game which myself and Nicko dominated, some hilarious random quotes, and a random cameltoe;) haha. All in all it was a fun night when nothing was expected. Always nice when low expectations are exceeded. May seem like a common occurence, but in all actuality it's not so true.
It is 4 am and I do have to get up in approx 6 or 7 hours so I best be on my way, tomorrow hold new surprises and new stories to comment on.
That's it for now.
